AFFIRM is supporting important projects being conducted by two ANU Senior Research Fellows Dr Lou Farrer and Dr Liana Leach who are developing programs to treat mental illness in young people at university and those who ‘work at home’ caring for an infant. Dr Farrer’s projects titled Keep it Health/Keep it Clean and UniScreen are so important for this vulnerable sector of the community and Dr Leach’s Work at Home Psychological Conditions will examine the links between postnatal depression and anxiety.
